The original

For many years, the extremely robust and heavy Condor A580 served the troops of the Swiss Army. In the meantime, the call for a lighter machine had become loud and already at the end of the 1950s a successor machine was procured. This was the Condor A 250, 110 of which were delivered as early as 1959. The first models still had two single seats, the later series then had a full-length bench seat. Subsequently, a total of 573 units were delivered to the army. The A 250 is the last motorcycle with Condor transmission and Condor engine to be developed and produced entirely in Switzerland. This later designed A 350 was still built in Courfaivre, but consisted mostly of Ducati components.
