It was not until 1944 that Bucher-Guyer AG in Niederweningen decided to start producing single-axle mowers as well and presented the motor mower called "Bucher Rekord" to the general public for the first time. For many small farmers who were not able to use a tractor, the single-axle mowers were used for mowing, pulling, plowing, harrowing and for stationary power. Thus, the desire for a more powerful and larger single-axle machine arose relatively quickly on the part of the countryside.
These wishes were met by the Bucher KT 10, which was first launched on the market in 1950. For this strong single-axle tractor, all attachments were available as they were for a tractor. After a few years, however, the heavy single-axle tractors with drive axle trailers were replaced by the more contemporary and modern transporters.
Thus, the Bucher KT10 was produced only until 1962, but reached a very proud number of 4705 units.
