The Schilter UT (Universal Tractor) went into series production for the first time in 1972 and represented its completely new vehicle concept at that time. With its low center of gravity, the four equally sized wheels, its powerful engine and with a front loader for the attachment of various implement combinations, the UT was unsurpassably suited for the most diverse applications. Based on various practical experiences, the further developed successor model Schilter UT 6503 was developed in November 1979, but only 10 more units of this model could be produced until 1980. Subsequently, the company decided to discontinue the production of Schilter universal tractors due to economic conditions.
