Intervention SBB is a professional intervention organization with around 16 locations throughout Switzerland. Its 340 employees handle over 7000 operations per year. By managing incidents safely and quickly on site, Intervention SBB helps to restore orderly rail operations as quickly as possible in the event of an emergency. As part of SBB's incident management, Intervention, together with its internal and external partners, responds to incidents on railroad territory or in its vicinity, supporting the public emergency response organizations. In addition, Intervention SBB plays an active role in incident prevention. Thanks to the safe and rapid management of an incident on site, Intervention SBB makes a daily contribution to safety and punctuality on the rail network - to the benefit of customers.
